The Negros Oriental government has budgeted about P4.5 million for four road improvement projects in Dumaguete City.
The projects all involve the concreting of roads in four areas.
Data from the Provincial Engineer’s Office and provided by the Degamo Information Center showed that the biggest allotment will go into the concreting of Colon Extension Road with P2.5 million.
The concreting started in April 30 and is targeted to be completed on the second week of August.
Meanwhile, P1 million was allotted for the concreting project in Sto. Rosario, Brgy. Junob that expected to be completed next month.
The other two concreting projects are along Claytown, Brgy. Daro with a P678,000 allocation and inside the park and playground in Upper Daro with P300,000.*RG
