This Bid Bulletin is issued to inform prospective Bidders of some changes and/or modifications introduced by the Bids and Awards Committee for the requirements “To hire contractor to provide materials, labor and equipment for “Construction of Solid Waste Facility Including Purchase of Shredder at the NOPH Compound, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental”” under Bid No. B-104-2023(A), ABC:P19,980,000.00, viz:

A. Construction of Solid Waste Facility
Terms and Conditions:
Equipment: Capable of Shredding, pulverising and disinfecting plastics, glasses, needles/syringe, cartons, textiles, leaves, woods, food wastes and all other forms of medical wastes.
Capacity: Minimum of 2 cu.m./hr of waste – the equipment must have an operating and maintenance cost of not more than Php 200,000.00/year for the first five(5) years inclusive of electricity, fuel, consumables, parts replacements and other maintenance services(warranty period) – waste output must be dry, odorless and unrecognizable. – the equipment must not produce toxic gas or liquid substances and must pass emission tests every year for period of five(5) years. – must comply with the regulatory standards governing solid waste management. – installation must come with appropriate housing capable of protecting the equipment and personnel from rain and sun’s heat and must have complete lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, waterline drainage system and ventilation and insulators. – testing of equipment and training of personnel must be conducted before the acceptance of the equipment. – the supplier must provide regular monthly check-up for maintenance and trouble shooting or as the need arises upon written request within a period of five(5) years. – the supplier must provide training in the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment and hall assist the trained personnel in the operation every month for a period of five(5) years.

Testing of equipment and training of personnel must be conducted before the acceptance of the equipment. 4. The supplier must provide training in the proper product operation and maintenance of the equipment and shall assist the trained personnel in the operation every month for a period of five(5) years. WARRANTY: One Year (1) reckoned from the date of final acceptance, free of charges.
