SUPPLEMENTAL/BID BULLETIN

Addendum No. 1

 

 

This Bid Bulletin is issued to inform prospective Bidders of some changes and/or modifications for the requirements “To furnish labor and equipment for the Hauling, Transport, Treatment and Disposal of 715,000 Kgs. of Infectious and Hazardous Hospital Waste at the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital” under Bid No. B-14-2026, ABC:P15,000,000.00, viz:

3. The contractor shall install/provide sufficient and appropriate equipment (containers, drums or storage vessels with cover) for storing and collection of infectious and hazardous wastes. 3. 4. The contractor shall complete the above-mentioned job service within 120 working days from the Notice to Proceed. 4. The contractor shall complete the above-mentioned job service within 90 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
6. Pursuant to Section 71.1.5 © of the IRR of RA 12009, upon submission of irrevocable Letter of Credit or bank guarantee issued by local bank, advance payment not to exceed fifteen (15%) of the contract amount shall be allowed and paid within sixty (60) calendar days from the signing of the contract. The irrevocable Letter of Credit or bank guarantee must be for an equivalent amount, shall remain valid until the goods are delivered, and accompanied by a claim for advance payment. All progress payments shall first be charge against the advance payment until the latter has been fully exhausted.

 

7. As stipulated in the Special Conditions of Contract (SCC) being part of the Bidding Documents, the winning bidder shall be allowed to collect progress/partial payment provided such partial payment shall correspond to the value of the goods partially delivered and accepted in accordance with prevailing accounting and auditing rules and regulations:

 

a)    First partial payment amounting to 25% corresponding to the value of the goods delivered and accepted;

b)    Second partial payment amounting to another 25% corresponding to the value of the goods delivered and accepted;

c)    Final payment for the remaining amount corresponding to the value of the goods delivered and accepted.

6. The winning bidder shall be allowed to collect partial/progress payment provided such partial payment shall correspond to the value of the services/goods delivered and accepted in accordance with prevailing accounting and auditing rules and legislations.

 

a)    First partial payment upon completion of at least 240,000 kg. of waste;

b)    Second partial payment upon completion of another 240,000 kg. of waste;

c)    Final payment for the amount corresponding to the value of the remaining kgs. of waste completed and accepted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bidders are enjoined to take note and consider the above mentioned amendments in the Scope of Work/Terms of Reference in the preparation of their bids.
